RRB or Railway Recruitment Board conducts various exams in multiple stages to hire for various posts in the Indian Railways. The Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) Recruitment is held with the same purpose. RPSF exams will be carried out for recruitment of Constables in RPSF, in various units of Indian Railways. Once you get selected as RPSF constable, selected, you will be serving in the Railway Protection Special Force.

Age Limit

The minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum is 25 years. The age varies according to the post, the candidate has applied. The Government has also provided for Age relaxation for some categories.

4. Document Verification

  • Based on your performance in CBT and subject to your qualifying in PET & PMT and Trade Test, you will be called for Document Verification.
  • In cases of two or more candidates securing same marks, their merit position shall be determined by age criteria i.e. older person shall be given higher seniority.
  • Your appointment is subject to your passing requisite Medical Fitness Test to be conducted by Railway Administration, final verification of educational and category certificates, verification of character and antecedents of the candidates from the local Administration and successful completion of initial training.


  1. There will be 1/3rd negative marking for every wrong answer.
  2. No mark shall be awarded or deducted for questions not attempted.
  3. It will be necessary to obtain 35% marks (30% for SC/ST Candidates) to qualify in CBT Tests.
